Certain Tulips are perennial- some better than others. None that are potted should be handled at perennial…
The video is good but you should not add any fertilizer at all with potted tulips. The bulbs only gather nutrients after their bloom and that is used for the next year’s bloom. You should use soiless potting mix as well.
The video doesn’t stress the fact that you need to keep the pot from freezing over. You need to burry the entire pot anyplace above NC. This is very important.

@damnyancey That’s wrong too. Light bulbs contain an inert gas, usually argon. This is to slow down the evaporation of tungsten. Look it up.

@philsnk there aint no air in the bulb. its under a vacume. thats why they pop when they break. air would cause th filament to burn out.
